The Habitat of Job Market

The habitat created by IT companies for job market is crumbling on to it’s own rules that they used to play. And it is going to make things bitter for themselves to get good resources and to keep them going with the same organization. All the big IT players are announcing or announced their quarter results and told people that they are not gonna have hikes. Ain’t that obvious.

This is expected from long time. Because during the troubled times when the organizations were having tough time, even before employees volunteering for some pay cuts to save the ship and keep the organization running, they forced brutally all these cuts and kept their name shining through the tough period.

The outsiders always thought that we work in great company which never had losses and we get to have ransom salary while their jobs were hanging. For us also it is the same. We all are the victims of the games played by these corporate methodologies; the other side was always green for us. Which is like a mirage which never existed.

Though the desire of finding better kept us moving forward to new organization to find we are in a theater to watch the play only the actors are new but the story is same. Who are fools, the people who stuck with the corporation, the people who left the corporation or the corporations themselves.

People who are stuck with the corporation are now treated as the material which is of no value irrespective of their expertise. It is a prejudice and honestly some are at loss and some or not. They become the ones who know the organization, and as people left and there are so many shoes to fill. These people knowing the dynamics of the organization makes it easy for them.

People who left are the smart ones?? No, they are not they have to prove again and to settle down it takes more than an year. Then you realize you are just the horse/donkey who ran for the dangling carrot which how much fast you run you can never catch it.

The organizations they started the game and they still hold the threads to manipulate us. Employees are the losers and organizations are the winners. This way the equilibrium is always established. And hence proven that rich people can call shots and poor people can take shots.

There is no place for Honesty, Loyalty and dedication at work place. Only people, who work for lesser money and lesser comforts. Change has to happen.
